  • Marketing Tip from Unique VenuesBuild a strong database. Your database of potential clients serves as the lifeline for sustaining and growing your business. One way to build a database of potential clients is to use local.yahoo.com. Here you can select a location and what you are looking for and garner results that you can add to the database. Here's an example: I selected "Meeting Planners" as what I was searching for. I entered Pittsburgh PA as the city I wanted to search and the results yielded 247 planners that I can then add to my database! Do this for your city, your state or provincial capital and any other target geo markets.
